Dear Language-learning Enthusiast,
At the intermediate level on your learning journey in any language, it is expected that you have reached a point where you know a lot about your language of interest. As true as this might be however, the intermediate level is also a point where you realize there’s still a lot you don’t know, and have not quite figured out with regard to your language of interest. Coming to this realization could affect your confidence, as you might start to wonder if you will ever attain a true level of fluency in your target language, and before you know it, you could get stuck due to the lack of confidence.
If you find yourself in this situation, it would be helpful to BUILD CONFIDENCE by interacting with other learners on a similar journey. If you do not speak, read or write in your target language often, it might be difficult to develop the confidence that would help you continue until you attain fluency. Getting involved in language-learning communities would help a lot with your practice, and there might also be learners who have been stuck in a similar dilemma, with some insight into how to move past it.
Do your best in everything possible to attain your desired level of fluency in that language,
sincerly,
Multilang.
