I am sure you have heard this many times before, “Practice makes progress”. This saying will always be true, because the more times you try your hands at something, the better you get at it with every trial. This applies to all aspects of life; studying for a test, learning a new skill, interacting with people, even learning a new language.
Some people also reported that as soon as they freed themselves from the pressure to be perfect and just focused on getting better with every step, there was measurable progress in their language-learning journey.
So dear friend, it is important to remember that practice makes progress; you do not have to be the best. With consistency and diligence however, someday all your learning goals will be realised and you will be so much better for it.
